35% design review commences
The building plans were submitted to the state Division of Facilities Development (DFD) for 35% review on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The DFD’s review is expected to take around four weeks, so feedback is anticipated around the end of March.
The Concord Group, the company doing the external cost estimation, is working on the project’s cost assessment, with a report expected in mid-March.
Over the last couple of months, the design team has kept a close eye on costs. In the event that budget challenges remain, some options for cost reductions have already been identified. All are working hard to make sure that the investment leverages the best value for the facility.
