Regents approve budget increase for Babcock Hall/Center for Dairy Research project
At their meetings on Feb. 6 and 7, the members of the UW Board of Regents approved the request to finalize the Babcock Hall Dairy Plant renovation and CDR addition. The request will now go before the State Building Commission, which has authority over all state capital projects. Their next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 27, 2020.
Once the final approval is granted, a completion schedule will be developed, including target dates for when the CDR and dairy plant facilities will open.
During construction on Babcock Hall, the Babcock Dairy Store remains open.
