The design team—which includes representatives from Zimmerman Architectural Studios, the state, UW-Madison, CALS, CDR, the food science department and industry—is meeting weekly and making key decisions about the overall design and layout of the project.

At this point, the anticipated 100% design completion date is July 2017. From there, it is anticipated the state review process will be completed in mid-August and the project can go out for bids in mid-October.
