The state Division of Facilities Development has approved the design contract with architecture and engineering firm Zimmerman Architectural Studios. This will allow the team to begin design planning. Design team members include: Russ Van Gilder, project manager for the state Division of Facilities Development; Stu LaRose, project manager for UW-Madison Facilities Planning and Management; Doug Sabatke, assistant dean for facilities in the UW-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences; Tom Witte, project manager for Zimmerman Architectural Studios; John Lucey, UW-Madison professor of food science and the director of the Center for Dairy Research; and Scott Rankin, professor and chair of the UW-Madison food science department.
